How we work out your collection interval
There is no standard frequency, and anyone who quotes you one without asking about your property is guessing. Four things decide it, and we need all four.
- Tank capacity — the nominal size, in gallons or litres
- Usable capacity — what is left after any settled solids, which is why a tank that has only been pumped and never cleaned needs collecting more often each year
- Daily inflow — how many people use the property, and whether there are kitchens, showers or wash-down on top of ordinary domestic use
- A safety margin — we target collection at well under full, not at the brim, because occupancy fluctuates and a tank at capacity has no room for a bad week
Who a fixed schedule actually suits
Scheduled collection is not right for everything. A property whose usage is genuinely unpredictable is better served by calling when it needs us. But for anything where the inflow is steady and an overflow would be expensive or embarrassing, a schedule is cheaper than the alternative and far less stressful.

The obvious saving is the emergency call-out you do not make. The less obvious ones matter more over a year: no lost production while a site waits for a tanker, no closed kitchen, no cleanup after an overflow, and no slow degradation of a tank that is being emptied too late each time. Our tankers carry Sharjah Municipality wastewater transport permits, and every vehicle is driven by an appropriately licensed heavy-vehicle driver.
