SAIF Zone work has a different rhythm from the rest of Sharjah. Units run to shift patterns and dock schedules, site access goes through a gate and an induction rather than an open street, and tenants are audited on things a villa owner never thinks about. The drainage itself is ordinary — holding tanks, wash-down water, accommodation blocks filling at a rate set by headcount — but the way the job has to be booked, attended and documented is not.
The free zone sits next to Sharjah International Airport and close to Sajaa, where the Sharjah Municipality treatment plant we discharge at is located. Getting a tanker on site: gates, passes and inductions
A free-zone site is not a street you can pull up on. The difference between a job that takes an hour and a job that takes three is almost always whether the driver arrived with what the gate needed. Tell us the following when you book and the visit runs to time.
- Which gate to use and whether a vehicle pass has to be arranged in advance
- Whether the driver needs a site induction, and how long that takes
- A contact on site who can meet the tanker and open the tank area

The documentation free-zone tenants get asked for
Warehouse and logistics tenants get audited, and the wastewater question comes up: who took it away, were they licensed to, and where did it go. Those are fair questions and we answer them with paper rather than assurances. We hold a Sharjah Economic Development Department professional licence for the collection and transport of sewage water, number 795303. Our tankers carry Sharjah Municipality wastewater transport permits. Every load is discharged at the municipality treatment plant in Al Sajaa and we can provide the discharge receipt for it.
One caveat worth stating plainly: the treatment plant decides what it will accept. Domestic sewage, kitchen wastewater and general wash-down water are routine. Anything carrying oils, solvents, chemicals or hazardous industrial waste is a different waste stream and has to be declared, because it cannot simply go into a sewage plant. Every load we collect is discharged at the Sharjah Municipality sewage treatment plant in Al Sajaa. Nothing goes into storm drains, open ground or anywhere else.

Our tankers carry Sharjah Municipality wastewater transport permits, and every vehicle is driven by an appropriately licensed heavy-vehicle driver.
Discharge receipt on request
Ask and we will hand over the discharge receipt from the treatment station — the proof facility managers and main contractors need for their own compliance files.

Questions from SAIF Zone customers
- Our gate requires a pass and a driver induction. Can you arrange that?
- Yes. Tell us the requirement when you book and we will send the driver and vehicle details in advance so the pass is ready. A tanker that arrives without one waits at the barrier, which helps nobody.
- Can you provide proof of where our wastewater went?
- Yes. Every load is discharged at the Sharjah Municipality treatment plant in Al Sajaa, and we can provide the discharge receipt for your compliance records. Our tankers carry municipality wastewater transport permits and we hold SEDD licence number 795303.
- We have wash-down water with some oil in it. Will you take it?
- Describe it to us before we come. The treatment plant decides what it can accept, and water carrying oils, solvents or chemicals is a separate waste stream that has to be declared. We will tell you honestly whether we can collect it rather than turning up and refusing.
- Can you collect from staff accommodation on a fixed schedule?
