Drainage Tanker Service in University City
University City is the district next to our yard in Muwaileh. A tanker here is a short run, not a trip across the emirate.

University City is really three customers sharing one postcode. There are the institutions themselves, with service yards, canteens and large holding tanks. There is the accommodation around them — student housing, staff apartments, and the blocks that fill with both. And there are the villa streets at the edges, where a family home has the same septic tank as a villa anywhere else in Sharjah. The tanker is the same in all three cases. The schedule, the site access and the paperwork are not.
Our yard is in Muwaileh, which borders University City. That matters most on the calls that cannot wait — a chamber backing up outside a canteen at lunchtime, or a hostel tank that has gone over on a Friday evening. Nothing is being routed here from another emirate.

What we handle in University City
- Holding and sewage tank emptying for student and staff accommodation
- Scheduled collection sized to term-time occupancy, not to a guess
- Canteen, cafeteria and food-outlet wastewater and grease removal
- Septic tank emptying and cleaning for the surrounding villa streets
- Blocked chamber and overflow clearance, any hour
Why the collection schedule here has to follow the academic year
This is the one thing that makes University City different from every other area we serve. A tank fills at the rate people use it, and occupancy here swings hard: full in term time, close to empty over the summer, and back to full within a week of a new intake arriving. An interval set in February is wrong by June, and wrong again by September. Either you are paying for tankers to empty a tank nobody is filling, or you are carrying an overflow risk at exactly the moment the building is busiest.
We would rather reset the interval twice a year than have it wrong all year. Tell us the occupancy you actually expect for the coming term and we will size the schedule to that, then change it when the term changes.
- Term time — collection at the interval your real headcount needs
- Summer and semester breaks — frequency reduced rather than cancelled
- Intake weeks — back on the full schedule before the tank gets there
- One point of contact for a whole building, not an arrangement per unit
Gate passes, site access and working around class hours
Access here is managed rather than open, and a tanker that arrives unannounced sits at the barrier. Tell us in advance which gate to use, whether the driver needs a pass or a vehicle permit, and who on site can meet us — then the job takes the time it should take. Where a collection would be disruptive during teaching or meal hours we will come early, late or overnight instead, and it costs no more. For the accommodation blocks, our residential drainage page covers how we handle buildings, and labour camp drainage covers the higher-occupancy accommodation. For a standing arrangement, see regular drainage tanker service.
Why University City calls us
The district next to our yard
Muwaileh borders University City. Apart from our own street, nowhere we serve is closer.
We size the schedule to the term
Occupancy here is seasonal. A fixed annual interval is either wasteful or risky, so we change it when the term does.
One contact for the whole site
Campuses and accommodation blocks do not want a separate arrangement per building. We deal with whoever is responsible.
Compliance
Every load leaves licensed — and lands legally
Illegal discharge is the risk sitting behind every tanker hire in the UAE, and it is the customer who gets asked about it. Here is exactly what happens to your waste after our tanker pulls away.
Discharged at the municipality treatment plant
Every load we collect is discharged at the Sharjah Municipality sewage treatment plant in Al Sajaa. Nothing goes into storm drains, open ground or anywhere else.
Permitted tankers, licensed drivers
Our tankers carry Sharjah Municipality wastewater transport permits, and every vehicle is driven by an appropriately licensed heavy-vehicle driver.
Discharge receipt on request
Ask and we will hand over the discharge receipt from the treatment station — the proof facility managers and main contractors need for their own compliance files.
Third-party liability insured
The work is covered by third-party liability insurance, so your building or site is protected if anything goes wrong on the job.

Questions from University City customers
- Do you serve the accommodation blocks as well as the campuses?
- Yes, and the villa streets around them. Student housing, staff apartments, institutional holding tanks and family septic tanks are all work we do in University City. Call +971 54 246 3788 and tell us which one you have.
- Can our collection frequency change between terms?
- Yes, and in University City it usually should. Occupancy in term time and occupancy in August are different numbers, so the interval that fits one wastes money or risks an overflow in the other. Tell us when the term changes and we will reset it.
- Our gate needs a pass for heavy vehicles. Is that a problem?
- No, as long as we know before the tanker leaves. Give us the gate, the pass requirement and a contact on site when you book and the driver will arrive with what security asks for rather than waiting at the barrier.
- How quickly can you reach University City?
- Faster than almost anywhere else we serve — our yard is in Muwaileh, next door. Call +971 54 246 3788 and we will tell you honestly when the tanker can be with you, based on where our vehicles are at that moment.
