Al Khan, Sharjah
Drainage & Sewage Tanker Service in Al Khan
Towers on one side, the lagoon on the other, and most of what goes wrong happening below ground level.

Al Khan is a strip of tall buildings between the lagoon and the sea, and almost everything we are called out for here is in a basement. Building holding tanks, lifting pump rooms, car park sumps and the grease chambers behind the corniche restaurants are all within a few metres of each other under the building, and when one of them backs up the water has nowhere to go but across the parking. We take it out, and we do it without the building having to stop for the day.
Al Khan is a straight run west from our yard in Muwaileh along Al Ittihad and the corniche — around twenty minutes in ordinary traffic. Being that close matters most on a multi-load job: the tanker discharges and comes back the same morning instead of the tank being left half done until tomorrow.

What we handle in Al Khan
- Building holding tank emptying and interior cleaning for towers and hotel apartments
- Basement, pump room and car park water removal
- Grease-laden wastewater removed from restaurant and cafeteria chambers
- Blocked manholes and inspection chambers pumped out
- Scheduled collection for buildings whose tank is not on a mains connection
- Night and early-morning attendance agreed with building management
In Al Khan, drainage problems are basement problems
In a villa district the tank sits in the garden and the worst case is a smell. Here the tank, the lifting pumps and often the electrical plant share one basement, and the worst case is water rising toward switchgear while a hundred flats upstairs carry on using their taps. That changes what matters: not only getting the water out, but getting it out quickly and telling the building honestly how long it will take.
- Building holding tanks filling faster than anyone is tracking, especially in hotel apartments where occupancy swings
- Car park sumps that stop coping after heavy rain or a mains leak
- Lifting pump chambers filling because the pumps have failed
- Ground-floor restaurant and cafeteria chambers along the corniche
- Manholes backing up into service corridors and loading bays
Working around a building that cannot close
A tower does not close while we work and a hotel apartment building certainly does not, so most Al Khan jobs are really about staging. Where does the tanker stand so it is not blocking the ramp? Does the hose run down the ramp or through a service door? Is the job better done at six in the morning than at six in the evening? Building management usually has a view on all three, and it is far better settled on the phone than negotiated in the loading bay.
If the tank is below the level a hose can reach from where a truck can stand, say so when you call — there are ways round it, but the crew has to arrive set up for it rather than discover it. For the wider service see commercial drainage and emergency drainage.
Why Al Khan calls us
Sized for a building, not a villa
A tower holding tank is several tanker loads rather than one. Twelve tankers is what makes the second and third loads happen the same morning.
We plan the ramp before we arrive
Where the truck stands and how the hose runs matters more in Al Khan than almost anywhere else in Sharjah, so we settle it on the call.
Night work by arrangement
If the only way to do it without closing the car park is at five in the morning, that is when we come.
Compliance
Every load leaves licensed — and lands legally
Illegal discharge is the risk sitting behind every tanker hire in the UAE, and it is the customer who gets asked about it. Here is exactly what happens to your waste after our tanker pulls away.
Discharged at the municipality treatment plant
Every load we collect is discharged at the Sharjah Municipality sewage treatment plant in Al Sajaa. Nothing goes into storm drains, open ground or anywhere else.
Permitted tankers, licensed drivers
Our tankers carry Sharjah Municipality wastewater transport permits, and every vehicle is driven by an appropriately licensed heavy-vehicle driver.
Discharge receipt on request
Ask and we will hand over the discharge receipt from the treatment station — the proof facility managers and main contractors need for their own compliance files.
Third-party liability insured
The work is covered by third-party liability insurance, so your building or site is protected if anything goes wrong on the job.

Questions from Al Khan customers
- Can you empty a holding tank in a basement?
- Yes — most of our Al Khan work is exactly that. The tanker stands where it can safely park and we run suction hose down to the tank. When you call +971 54 246 3788, say roughly how far below street level the tank is and whether there is a height bar on the ramp, and we will send the right vehicle with the right hose length.
- Our car park is flooding. How quickly can you get here?
- Al Khan is about twenty minutes from our yard in Muwaileh in ordinary traffic, and +971 54 246 3788 is answered at any hour. Call rather than message if the water is rising — you will get a real answer about timing instead of waiting for a reply.
- How many tanker loads will a tower holding tank take?
- Almost always more than one. A 5,000-gallon tanker clears a villa tank in a single load, but a building tank is usually several. We send more than one tanker, or run more than one trip within the same attendance, so the tank is finished rather than lowered.
- Can you come at night so the car park stays open?
- Yes. We run 24 hours, and early-morning or overnight attendance arranged with building management is routine work for us here. Agree the window when you book and the crew will be there for it.
- Do you handle the restaurant grease chambers on the corniche?
- We remove grease-laden wastewater from chambers and holding tanks by tanker and take it to a municipality treatment plant, with the discharge receipt available on request. Most corniche outlets find a fixed interval works better than calling once it has already backed up — see [scheduled collection](/regular-drainage-tanker-service-sharjah).
